Hawg Haus = Hog House

Then, what's with the weird spelling?  A little something to do with being a proud Arkansas Razorback graduate--particularly, a track and field hurdler.  The Lady Razorbacks traveled in our own "Hawg Hauler". . .that thankfully did not HAUL us the next season!

Although,  now Razorbacks are nicknamed HOGS, years ago, the weird spelling was okay.  It followed me to my first teaching job, and years later, when I needed an online "handle", well, you get it.

My business requires storage--if you can imagine--and, I actually store my finished and unfinished pieces in an old cement-floored hog barn.  Yup.  Not kidding.  The building is now officially Hawg Haus!

Welcome to my website and what I've been doing after teaching high school math for 37 years.  I'm very humbled to have loved being a teacher--surrounded by an amazing community with some first-rate colleagues and really cool high school students, and cross-country and track athletes.  And now, I am surrounded by the same amazing community, some pretty great customers, a super-supportive family, and my new love of building, refurbishing, and flipping just about anything!
