Antique Buffet customized to Kitchen Island, bar stools included (No top included)

Antique Buffet made into Kitchen Island (top is NOT included)

Once an empire buffet, now a front-back island with bar stools. The top section of the buffet was removed. A new oak back was added. Corbels were mounted to the rear of the buffet. The mirror and top shelf were reconfigured to create a wall-mounted shelf with hooks.

Amish-made oak barstools are included. They swivel but spring back to original position. They have their original finish.

I stripped the buffet’s original finish, then used Varathane Aged Wheat stain to give the oak a natural color, then clear coat. There are many photos taken at difference times of day to show the variation in the oak.

Two small drawers on top. Right one has three sections. Huge drawer across the bottom. All have been cleaned and waxed for conditioning and easy gliding. Vast amount of inside-cabinet storage was “beefed up” to add support for the back corbels. Inside was also cleaned and waxed.

New rustic pulls.

58” x 31” x 39” tall (includes 2.75” casters)

Between back corbels 51” (generous space for the two barstools)

THERE IS NO TOP ON THE ISLAND. I felt it was too buyer specific. All photos with a top were AI generated.

Island and bar stools $850

Matching shelf $250 (sold separately with purchaser of island getting preference)
